Sad news regarding Raven, one of our sponsor cats

Sadly on 2nd April 2020 we lost our sweet girl Raven. Health wise she hadn’t been very well over the past few months, she had been in the wars, she had a non-malignant tumour on her nose she also had an injury to one of her paws which lead to an infection & had been losing a bit of weight.

Raven was monitored regularly by the health team & given extra feeds & resided in Ashcroft Square for quite a while. On signs of improvement Raven was let back into the main area where she loved to be but she suddenly took a turn for the worse & went downhill very quickly, so on vets advice she was PTS, as we couldn’t see our sweet girl suffer any longer. Raven had four & a half happy years at the sanctuary where she was loved & cared for.

RIP Sweet girl you will be sadly missed.
