The all-important item: Money!

The annual running costs of the sanctuary are currently CY£12000, but in order to maintain & improve the new site the costs will almost certainly rise this year.

General fundraising events are held on behalf of the Sanctuary. These involve anything from car boot sales, fetes, art exhibitions or clothes sales. Generally, anything that raises money is a worthwhile activity.

A calendar is produced annually featuring photographs of the cats at the sanctuary. These, as well as the sponsorship scheme are the biggest incomes that the sanctuary receives.

A newsletter is produced, 2 to 3 times per year and is sent to all our sponsors, all over the world.

We attend boot sales (flea markets), fetes, etc. In fact, anywhere we can set up a stall and sell books, cakes, drinks, anything donated to us ... we will do it.

People from the nearby British base, together with Cypriot and expatriate business people and individuals, are very generous in providing monetary and physical help. Visiting tourists often make a contribution.
