The perfect weather on Sunday helped to make Grace & Heather’s coffee morning a real success.  A steady stream of people came to Grace & John’s house from 10am and all seem to have a really good time catching up with old friends and making new ones.  A lot of kilos must have been put on as the array of cakes and biscuits were so tempting.  There was our usual book & magazine stall and MCPS merchandise for sale and of course the raffle for which Shirley Lovatt had made one of her famous fruit cakes, the final sum raised was a very healthy €648.

 

Thank you to Grace & John for opening their house in Trimiklini to us all and also thank you to everyone who provided their home made biscuits and cakes and to Rosemary for her delicious sausage rolls.
