Betty and her kittens

Betty is a lovely ginger female was found outside the sanctuary in March 2017 very heavily pregnant. Betty gave birth to her 3 kittens a ginger, grey, & a pale ginger at the sanctuary & here they are photographed with her at 2 weeks old.  Betty’s kittens wont be available for homing till at least the middle of May 2017 & are at the moment too young to know exactly what sex the kittens are. We don’t like to disturb Betty & her babies too much just yet as it can cause distress to the little family.  Betty has been such a good Mum & has also taken another small ginger & white kitten on as a surrogate that was found outside far to young to be away from its own Mum.

Here is Betty’s bigger surrogate kitten with Gill having a cuddle…

Update: All Betty’s kittens & the surrogate kitten found homes in May 2017 & Betty found a forever home in July 2017 & now has the new name of Marnie. We wish Marnie & her new family all the best for the future. Here’s a photo of Marnie in her new home:
